Basic information

The University of Deusto is located in the heart of the city, across the Guggenheim Museum. Founded by the Jesuits in 1886, its century-old buildings, combining a classic and noble architectural style with the most advanced technology in its interior, was used by Frank O. Gehry as a point of reference for the harmony of the stone component which, alongside the titanium and glass, defines the Guggenheim Museum. The two buildings look at each other face to face, making the bond between tradition and progress a reality.
